Need Help! Clutch issues!

Having what I believe is clutch issues, on my way to work this morning as I was taking an off ramp my car began to rev up but not accelerate, I believe the clutch is sticking, it shifts fine but when I'm all the way off the pedal it'll "putt" to 2500-3000 and begin to just rev with no foward movement same with reverse. It's a 95 eagle talon tsi awd 5 speed, and suggestions on what to do or how to go about this would be greatly appreciated! Also it's a act 2800? Clutch

Have you checked into any vacuum/boost leaks? and leaks with the pcv valve can cause idle issues which was a lot of the idle problems in my 1g

Does it do it at any other rpm or just between there?

It sounds like it's either time for a new clutch disc, or you need to bleed the slave better.
How's your pedal pressure?
How old is the disc?
How much fluid is in the clutch fluid reservoir?

I think it's time for a new clutch disk, great pressure pedal comes the way back up with no issues, after work it was fine but there's not much left to the clutch now, It acted up alil this morning. I'm thinking if/when the clutch heats up its sticking itself and not releasing all the way.

The way you say "putt" to 2500-3000, is the engine not running properly or is it running normal until then? The way I'm reading it, it sounds like when boost comes on its too much for the clutch to handle, but out of boost it can still hold. It sounds like a worn out clutch to me.

I thought it was a boost leak at first but when it happened I pulled into a parking lot, put it in first and with no throttle let all the way outta the clutch, car never bucked or stalled nor moved, tried giving it gas and would roll slightly like being on a slight hill in neutral
