Clutch issues need help

So I took my car to a local shop by my house to have my clutch done because it was grinding in and out of gears. They took my car for a month and gave it back to me with a new pedal assembly, lines, clutch, flywheel, master cylinder, and slave cylinder. That was in march.

Now my clutch is acting up again and i cant figure out what it is. It catches about a centimeter off of the floor and sometimes when i take off it will stick to the floor. the only way i can get it to come off of the floor is to let off the gas and pump the clutch a couple times.

Has anyone else had this problem? I also got under the car and noticed that the slave cylinder is for a fwd and i have a gsx. Could that be the problem?

that sounds like your problem, I think the length of the rod is different.

sounds like you have air in the hydraulic line for the clutch. autozones website says the awd and fwd slave cylinders are different. just a thought

The clutch shouldnt grab with the pedal 1cm off the floor. You will need to adjust the master cylinder rod where it goes into the clutch pedal up underneath the dash. You can find out how to do this here:

I adjusted the master cylinder rod out as far as I could without closing off the bleeder valve for the slave cylinder. Im going to get the slave cylinder for the awd version and see if that helps. Should i replace the mastercylinder too? I just had it done in march but I hear you should always try to do it at the same time
