Okay guys I have searched before and havent found a thread stating THE SIZE of these bolts. Long story short I did engine swap and lost these bolts somehow :ohdamn:....What are the sizes so I can go to store and pick up new ones? this is all that is holding me back from getting back on the road. Thanks in advance. :D

M8x1.25, not sure on the length. I would buy OEM bolts as they have a Pilot point on there. A while back I read a thread where a guy kept breaking regular Class 10.9 bolts.

Okay thanks. but i don't think these will break off. They are just holding it in place, not really being placed under pressure or force. Any guess on the lengths? I am gna buy before i go back to school to throw em on. Thats gna be on friday. Also how bout the slave cylinder 2 bolts? same thread pitch? What size are those?

Yea, slaves are M8 x 1.25 thread as well (12mm head usually, but will be 13 if you get them from ACE and not off a japanese car for some reason LOL)

The are 65mm long or 2.6 inches with s shoulder length of ~39mm/ 1.5" and threaded are length of ~20mm/.750"

I just happen to have two different slaves on the table next to my desk where i'm workin on a little clutch project and a digital caliper close by

if you get the bolts from an indstrial fastner store, as for an m8x1.25 washered/shouldered "jetlock" nut, the "jetlock" is where those nuts from the factory have the 3 peenings on the top of the thread to lock them into place so they done need loc-tite or lock washers to stay put! Find your local fastner store, those palces are thebest and they're so much cheaper and will have everthing you could ask for (even carry left hand taps i use here and there, Ask for those at ACE and the people would just look at you confused like it was supposed to be a trick or something and they didn't get the punchline or soething LOL

Thanks for the quick reply. I got that the bolts thread and pitch but how longs are what bolts LOL. 65 mm? That is the carrier bearing bolts? how long are the slave cylinder bolts? Sorry if you said it , I just didnt understand LOL.

oh, thats the slave cylinder bolt dimensions, my bad, wasn't clear on that i guess i forgot you asked the stud length on the bottom, 1.5" bolt would probably be enough stud or you could go 1.75 or 2", just keep the shoulder length .500" or less for proper tightening of the rubber washer/metal ring assembly clamp thingy LOL

I show the intermediate shaft bearing bolts to be M10 x 1.25mm pitch x 41.5mm long, and the slave bolts to be M8 x 1.25mm pitch x 28.5mm long for a 1G.

Lifesavers!!!! Thank you

By the way how do you always find the bolt sizes? is there something I can download to do the same?

damn, how'd i mis think the size difference aqway (must be cause i'm only 2 weeks into owning an AWD now :p)

yea m10 on carrier studs

I downloaded it but it said error and made me close it . which do I pick and how to install?

Depends on which one you tried to install. With ASA at least, you are expecting to get an error. The instructions must be followed to the letter for it to work.

The last two links in that post are the most helpful. Read them.

O ok I am gna download those. The link from WI dsm no longer works tho just to let ya know :).

I wasn't sure that it would, hence why I added those other two before I linked to that post. :)

Thanks for the heads up; I've removed that option from the post.

no thank you. You dont know the size of the line for the slave cylinder do ya? Mine broke off last night while trying to bleed the system. Also if you know the size of the fittings . I have to replace the steel line from the rubber one above the tranny. Its a bout 1 foot long with two fittings .

The hydraulic tubing is about 3/16" (or 4.75mm) OD. Not positive on the flare fittings (nuts), but I believe they are something like 10mm x 1.00mm.
Something similar to this: 10mmx 1.0 Fine thread, male steel nut with non threaded lead, SAE (double) and DIN (bubble) flare, 17mm long.

As an alternative, you could look into a braided, stainless steel replacement and completely do without the stock tubing.

Your are all kinds of awesome. Thanks alot and ya I looked up the SS lines and it like 80 shipped. Sometime in the near future I will upgrade but this is all I needed to ge tmy car rolling along again lLOL. I was trying to bleed the slave cylinder and my fiend was holding the SC while I was trying to crack it open. Well, we got it open but his strong ass broke the line a little so we leaked :(. Thanks for letting me know man. I will rep you

Hey can you see if you can find the transmission bolts? I am missing two on the bottom. One is said to be by the slave cylinder and one in the rear of the engine?

Any non oem bolts will break. The oem bolts have a dog point to locate the bolt in the block, and a special shoulder to locate the bracket. I have no idea why they didn't use dowels like the 3000gt, but they didn't.

Hey guys. Does anyone know or have a bracket/spacer for the thing that holds the driver side axle to the block? I deleted the AC. I was told I need this spacer/bracket. how much is this and does anyone have one?
