Hi guys , im about to order 3 things for my eclipse ( 97 gsx ) , and i just need some help with the language barrier , i have no idea what these things are called in english, so im just gonna try to explain them for you.

1 : The plastic thingie that surrounds my stereo ( wich i can tell is probably cheap to replace and found everywhere as it is cheap plastic ) , the buttons that regulate the heat/cold etc are also in this plastic-cover

2 : the rubber"band" on my hatch-window, the one that is supposed to keep water out ( its on all windows on every car ever made basicly ) , sort of a preventor of sorts... im pretty sure its formed like a big O wich goes around my entire hatch-window , on t

3 : The plasticthings that surround the windows on the outside, the previous owner had them covered with a chrome-cover of sorts and when he pulled that of alot of the paint on the plastic-item im trying to describe , got pulled of with it. In norwegian we would call it something in the lines of list-work or lists.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?VISuperSize&item=320499292276 <-- like here, the plastic thing on the OUTSIDE of the window, right above the written numbers

( i know the come as a complete set , Mitsubishi Norway actually sold these but they charged me 1500$ pr set PR side! fu ck oFF!

Im sure you're all laughing your ass of right now but how many car-expressions do you know in Norwegian? LOL

The reason for this is that Mitsubishi Norway dont sell parts for Eclipses and refuse to help me get the names or proper translation , and car-expressions aint my strongest side when it comes to english :)

1. That you CAN'T order from a Mitsubishi dealer anywhere, sorry for the bad news. I busted mine trying to install a radio and I just had to find one out of a junkyard or used from this website.
2. The rear window seal you would go to a car window shop and they can reseal your rear window.
3. Heres what you'd have to get to fix your door window trim. 2G DSM Window/Door Trim

hopefully that answered your questions.

:dsm:

1. Flux Capacitor

May as well be that since you have to go back in time to get one :). Throw up a post, someone who is gutting their car has to have one for sure.

thnx, and also i've another item that needs a proper translation

im talking about the belt , the one that is easiest to fix/replace ( not the timing belt ) but the other one , wich makes a squeeking sound in the winter etc when you start the car =P you can see it when you open the hood ( dynamo..? )

Just ordered from extremepsi the following items :

Gates Racing Performance Alternator Belt: Mitsubishi Eclipse 96-97 Auto ( i have automatic drive )

Gates Racing Performance Power Steering Belt: Mitsubishi Eclipse 95-99 ( this didnt specify any difference between manual or auto tranny so im assuming its universal )

Mishimoto Racing Thermostat (62º C/143º F): Mitsubishi Eclipse 95-99

Hopefully i've ordered the correct items and they will arrive within the week =)

Power steering or alternator belt

BTW - For both people that got it wrong, it's "weather"... not "whether", and it's "stripping"...not "striping". :)

Let's make a sentence out of that:

Now that the weather has cleared up and is no longer raining, I will begin stripping the red paint and striping black lines on it for looks whether you like it or not.

:p

OP the radio bezel will be had in a junk yard. Might be able to get it off of a Dodge Avenger of same year style. I know they share parts.

cool bud, didnt know about the dogde parts

problem is , my gsx in one of 4 in norway, and im pretty sure there's no more than a couple of avengers so that doesnt help much :p

i'll post some pictures after my upgrades etc are complete :)

Dodge stratus and chrysler sebring share some interior parts as well. Good luck with your eclipse.

I find it hilarious that your english isn't very good but you picked up a common sothern united states slang word "aint"

Hit up Mitsubishi Graveyard. They're a supporting vendor on here, and have all kinds of hard to find OEM parts.

its just a piece of plastic, shouldnt be that big of a deal. and they are in NY arent they? so shipping shouldnt be too far over-priced...
