Ok, I was under the car today and I notcied an unhooked sensor. There's a sensor line that runs down by the alternator then splits into two seperate lines. One of the lines is the oil pressure sensor and it's hooked up, but I can't figure out what the other portion of it is. Any ideas?

My Galant has an extra wire that goes to the power steering pump. It always comes off and it doesnt affect anything as far as I know.

Yeah, I have a plug the goes to the power steering pump, and I know what you're talking about. But it's not this one. It's located further down.

There's the oil pressure sensor and the oil pressure sending unit down there. You should have 2 sensors (w/wiring) on the oil filter housing.
