I have a 95 non turbo, which will be turbo soon, but for now I would like to get a little extra power with my S-AFC II. I've heard of guys leaning out their cars to get power. How much is safe for non turbo, and turbo? I have a wideband on the way, so I'll be able to watch A/F. Next, what is a safe knock count of both turbo, and non-turbo? My knock count has been higher than usual lately, and I don't know what is safe or not. When does detonation start becoming a problem? If anybody can help me that would be great, thanks.

no knock is good knock.

i wouldnt worry about tuning for NA if you're going to be turbo soon. Just get the feel for things in the AFC and wideband.

I just figured since the motor is going to be rebuilt, why not get a little bit of tuning experience. I've read tons of info, and talked to a lot of tuners, and now I would like to try if for myself. Anyways, I know knock isnt good, but is there a number that if you stay under, you shouldnt have any problems?
