Okay what I have is an 94' n/t Eclipse Gs I have done the turbo engine swap to. The engine and all parts came from a 91 Talon Tsi Auto car. Now when I pulled then engine I noticed that it wasn't the original engine for that car, it came from a 5 spd car (has a 14b. manual cams, and 450 inj.) The ecu came from the auto talon which is a auto ecu( set for the 390 cc inj., a/t cams, and 13 b turbo). My question is can I just use the ecu as I have been doing ( car runs fine has good pull) and lean the fuel mixture up with a safc? Also with the richer fuel mixture when I up the boost would the ecu running the car a little rich make up for it? Or should I just find a m't ecu and install that them up the boost?

I don't know much about swaps, but I would recommend getting a MTX ECU just to simplify things. Either way, you will need a datalogger before making any changes with your SAFC. By all means, do not "trust" an ECU to make the necessary corrections as you play around with more boost. Are you still on stock fuel? stock turbo? Fill us in on more and you will get better answers :thumb:

Yes it still has the stock inj and the pump from the awd talon. It's basically a stock Eclispe gs 6 bolt turbo now with all the free mods that apply done. Only it has a a/t ecu in it but the engine is from a mtx car. My thinking leads me to believe, which I can be wrong is that the richer mixture actually would help when I bump the boost from stock to about 15 psi.

Well no of course not considering this car is my dd right now. Guess i will be looking into getting a logger here soon. Thanks for your input.
