Hey guys Ill make this short and sweet my T25 is making noise at full boost its a stock turbo with 120k on it. I was just going to put a stock t25 replacement but i plan to upgrade anyway, I found out for 50 bucks more I can get a 16g. Will it bolt right on where my t25 used to be? Will i need anything else right away for the bigger turbo? The seller claims it will fit. Here is the link :confused:

how do u make boost without driving? thats only when it make the noise ...what do i look for?

You know the more i think about it ...My booster hose does seems to be a bit plane I looked at it when i did a fuel system clean on it.... when i boost and then step on the gas my brake petal is stiff for a split second then its fine the noise does seem to be right by the firewall

Update;

So i just found out if i ride the breaks while giving the car gas my break petal gets rock solid ...the more gas i give it the harder the break petal

Do you think I provided that link for shits and giggles? No, I did not, so READ IT.

I can pretty much guarantee that the brake booster line off the intake manifold was replaced and the new hose doesn't have a check valve in it to prevent positive pressure from going to it.

You need either get an OEM brake booster hose or install one of these in the line.

all you put up was a post about checking the boost leak....thats not what i needed I know you got some pull around this site put you dont have to go out of your way to be rude and also its unprofessional ...just saying

A boost leak is a problem and needs fixed. Doing the test would pressurize the system and reproduce the sound.

If you read the link you would see how to test and provide more info to the problem then doing something that could have caused damage to the diaphragm in the brake booster.

Running without a check valve is a SERIOUS safety issue that should be fixed immediately. If you don't have the money/time to buy one you can even use an old PCV valve. It's defiantly not ideal but it can get you through.

Losing your life over a missing check valve would be a tragedy.
 
UPDATE;

After I checked with all the dealers ....I went to the junk yard and got a few check valves off some a few hondas and 300zx's off the break booster lines ....installed new check valve no more noise!! :D boosting is great now
