Yeah, I can't figure out where the hell this could be coming from. I think it may only happen on boost, as I've cleaned everything up and ran the car for awhile and couldn't see any oil coming out, but I've leaked two quarts of oil in about 150 miles and it ends up on top of the intake manifold behind the head. Any idea where this could be coming from?? The valve cover has a gasket and is also permatex'd, so it's not coming from there.. that was my first guess (though it would be a lot of oil to leak from a valve cover).

Perhaps someone has run into this problem before.

If it is puddling up on top of the intake manifold like you said there is really nowhere it could be coming from besides the valve cover or valve cover gasket. Maybe check your pcv valve. You could be pressurizing the crankcase under boost if it is not checking off the pressure from the intake manifold.

Defiantly coming from your valve cover somewhere. Whether the gasket, crack, PCV valve, or a bad seal on the oil cap. I had a bad seal on the oil cap once, though all the oil built up under the spark plug cover.
