my timing cover doesnt fit

I just finished puting the front of the engine together and I went to put the timing cover on and it's hitting the tentioner pully, I don't know what else to do I've checked all pullies and everything is right... anyone else have this problem? Any good advice would be helpful thank you

Is the tensioner pulley extending to far out? I`ve never had a problem with that.

The timing cover is installed and its hitting the tensioner pulley? Or you can't put it on because the tensioner pulley is in the way...

When I go to instal it the cover is like bending over the pulley I don't know what to do ill try puting up pictures today thanks

Install it from the bottom, make sure the engine is supported, if it falls too close to the engine mount, you'll have a hard timing getting it back up there.
