My tentioner is different!!??

I've been trying to get a new timing belt tentioner for my car, and for some reason its different then what the Mitsubishi dealership says. My tentioner has 3 ears on one side of it for bolts. The dealership says the tentioner is supposed to have 2 ears on one side and 1 ear on the other. Which is exactly like the tentioner for my old non-turbo 4g63 I had. Do I have an odd ball tentioner in my turbo engine? Or is the dealership guy just retarted??? Someone please help!! I'm completely lost and carless!

Correct me if I'm wrong but sounds like you have a 7 bolt motor 4g63. You can see the difference between the tensioners and buy it here if you want.

To be honest honest I have no clue if tis 7 bolt....or even what 7 bolt means ! I know...I'm an idiot...
But the tentioner I need is up there!! Thanks a LOT!! Do you think the dealership can order it for me if I tell them its a 7 bolt?

SOLUTION!!!!

Your car is a 93, so the correct one for the CAR is the 2 lobes on one side and 1 on the other, that is a 7 bolt tensioner

Your MOTOR is from a 92 GSX which is probably the 6 bolt which u will need the one with everything on one side

Well then a 6 bolt tentioner I shall order!! Yall are complete life savers! I've been pulling my hair out trying to figure out why my tentioner was weird!!!
