Actually the itercooler sits out a tad further so tech you COULD fit like a 3" core in front of it but it would not be practical but that is def where the radiator would go unless you had a slim 1/2 size honda style for the other side then you would be ok.

i hate dsms and others i live right in sicklerville about 5 min from berlin i have a 2g that i just did a 6bolt swap

if you guys notice, i used 2 large OEM fans, not 1 OEM and 1 A/C fan. I found these guys to be reliable and strong enough to do the job. (i don't have it in the budget for Spals and i am not using anyone else's product). I also don't have a radiator yet, which is why the one fan is wire tied on. In my crude drawing you will see a top view of the set up. I am also running a Water to Air intercooler, so i don't need room for a intercooler, but i do need room for a small radiator for the water/intercooler.

DSMs, fast and easy to work on!:dsm::talon::laser:

Is the hub bad or just the bearing. I work for a wholesale auto supplier and I looked it up they don't make hub assemblies just bearings that you need to get pressed in unless you go to the dealer or junk yard.

I put new bearings in. With the wheel on the car and there is tons of play in it!

After Jason ANd ben made a "Love connection" LOL I got to say I love the Build......

And want some more INFO on RELOCATION of the Fuse block under the hood...

Did You just use 9 Conductor wire and solder it all with shrink wrap?
have you done this before, were there any problems to look out for.
I Know that sometimes you can change the Resistance value of WIRE with solder to heavy and risk problems in some applications esp for things that run of resistance in particular....

LMFAO ROFLROFL

Nice build.

tranny is apart. Previous owner had it freshened up, But i still wanted to go over it. Any recommendations to what i should do to it. (keep in mind im switching to an auto next season).

Back to work on the car.

coil plate. it mounts on the bottom side of the intake manifold.

here's a little trick. The egr channel was tapped and blocked off. It keeps hot exhaust gases away from the intake.

woah woah woah! what is that flat black business in the top left of your engine bay? it looks aftermarket and ive never seen anything like it you have perked my interest sir!

He probably spun a bearing on first crank, realized his aspirations were gone and sold it to some 16 yo kid. Bet it has a dump ass wing on it and the kids face is full of acne. This kid also tells his friends his car is 500 whp when in reality its no where near that, and he has pulled the front axles just so he can "drift" with his buddies 240.
Damn I love my imagination.

Cute but dumb..

I totally forgot I had started this thread. After hundreds of hours of design and engineering of many new features and parts the car is near completion. Unfortunately this is not the only car I have been building so time is not on my side. It does run, (very well, strong, and great revving) and that's all from standing in place. I'm working on welding up a nice exhaust setup now. And apart from final treatments on the car all is left is bleeding the brakes and picking a good wheel/tire setup. I always keep copious notes so I can't wait to share all that I have done and will do after some road tuning and shake down runs. Many things were built then changed over and over until i felt comfortable with them. And as always safety and reliability are my first considerations.

I will get some photos and video up. here's one.
