My "Street Car" Build!.

If anyone cares to see, I can start posting pictures and procedures of my build. Perhaps helping some of you guys out, and also showing you different techniques not usually seen on DSM's. Here's some pictures to start it off.

Cause it rocks But looking at the set-up I think you could benefit in the 7K and up rpm range with a aftermarket intake manifold.

My place is on Cooper Rd. I bought the car last year and been working on ever since. your drag build is sharp. You have a very good eye for detail.

The aluminum piping was for mocking up. It was cheap and easy to bend. It allows you to see what room you have and how to build an exhaust.

The stock intake manifold is gotta stick around for a little bit. My budget for the car is getting skinny so i figured i should keep it around. I also want to see how it performs with a water/air intercooler, nitrous, and, meth/acetone injection. very curious.

After Jason ANd ben made a "Love connection" I got to say I love the Build......

And want some more INFO on RELOCATION of the Fuse block under the hood...

Did You just use 9 Conductor wire and solder it all with shrink wrap?
have you done this before, were there any problems to look out for.
I Know that sometimes you can change the Resistance value of WIRE with solder to heavy and risk problems in some applications esp for things that run of resistance in particular....

I mostly used 12 and 16 gauge stranded. Everything was properly soldered, heat shrunk then wrapped with vinyl tape. The majority of the wires that were lengthend were NOT engine wires. I kept the engine ignition wires as stock sized as possible. However, having a good ground to everything will almost guarantee that everything will work as it should.

I have done entire car wiring many times before so its pretty straight forward for me. I really had no problems when I powered everything up.

Cool, Next time YOU try doing this Use this Type Wire, 9 Conductor, It is 9 Different 18guage wires in one Housing all color coated differently.....You can find it at just about any stereo shop * Common For alarm Installs and Deck to 4 Channel Amps * Works great to run extra length on long projects and simple to keep separated since its all different colors, Less Confusing to track problems too!

Fans are setup. One will pull and is wired on the original circuit and comes on with a thermal switch. the other fan will push and is wired to the AC circuit, it is wired to a manual switch. The second fan had to be trimmed to fit under the lighting.
