My new 90 Tsi awd

Ok so this is my fourth dsm in two years! She's wonderful and pulls so hard. It's a 90 eagle talon Tsi awd I picked up in Chicago for $1500! I think I got a great deal on the car! Exterior is in good shape and not one spot of rust on the whole car. The interior is perfect in the black and grey theme. She is an automatic but oh well! The engine bay is really clean as well! I'm suprised that I got it for the price that I did! I have big plans for this car including a fully built forged motor, t70 turbo, front mount, complete repaint of car, momo seats up front, ect. I'm planning on 700 awhp hopefully. Here's a pic I'll get some more later.

Is it currently a non-turbo FWD car? Check the door sill for the build date anything after the end of May 1990 should be a 91. I'm pretty sure there weren't any turbo automatics in the 90 model year.

Like I said, check the build date. According to Mitsubishi there weren't any 1990 turbo automatics. Cars build from June 1990 until July 1991 are 1991 model year cars.

There is always a possibility the data is wrong but in the 20 years that I've owned my car I've never seen a 90 AWD automatic.

Perhaps Eagle didn't switch model years at the same time that Mitsubishi did.

Damn that is nice....couldn't be the original paint job. The hood and hatch don't have the clear flaking off of it

All original I checked for overspray and could not find any signs of it! I used to be a body shop tech. There is a few rock chips and there is only one coat of paint! Car is super clean!

helped a buddy pick up a 91 eagle in red just last week. From the pics i would have sworn it was this car. Both of them dead clean, red/black, awd tubo, and $1500!
his is manual with 50k miles on it, but the spitting image of that car. Glad to see that they can still be found in such nice condition.

ps. His car has already lost a water pump

It's a 91, the speedometer is in 10 mph markings, not the 5, 15, 25 etc, of the 90's. Although i have seen some strange things through the years.
