MY motor starting to have CRANK WALK????

Well my motor starting to have crank walk? was wondering if anyone had any ideas on wat i should do????????

It's a 2G it has to be walking. They all suffer from crankwalk.

they dont all suffer. just check the thrust bearing and the crank bearings. measure them with a mic and compare them to specs. thats the best way to tell if you have it or not. also start you car up without the clutch. this will reduce the wear on the thrust bearing, especially when its cold. there is no oil on the bearing and it will grind a little causing it to wear more.

If you didnt measure for the walk then just delete this post and be gone. Man i dont know whats worse haveing to put up with crankwalk and replace a motor or have to read through all these "I have crankwalk" post , :thumbdown

why................ Wats with all these uptight people snappin? just wanna know wat should be better, fixing it or replacing the bottom block? And how come i know its starting to have crank walk, I work at the mitsu dealer and the tech over there checked my car and everything, And i think he has enough experince dealing with mitsu's. My tsi has about 130 rounds on it, the tech told me that replacing the thrust bearing or watever will probably fix it for just a lil while, but eventually it will come back if its bad enough. just wanted to hear some advice not idiots snappin all the ####ing time. Im new to the DSM world cause im a HONDA GUY, and i thought this was the noobie forum, ####NUTZ who snap make other people not wanna post.

welcome to the board , this board uses whats called a "search system". Thats the little button in the upper right hand corner. Search, and repair or replace. Although I'm betting you can't tell us what "crankwalk" is.
