Its going to make you run rich, but some people have gotten away with not having a afpr.

you probably have a 2g regulator on your car it will hurt as a 1g is setup to run off of 38psi of fuel pressure you wont be able to turn it down unless you have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator

You will run rich. If you start logging a lot of knock and can't figure out why, then you'll have your answer.

1G manual - Spec 36.3psi (Standard value 36 - 38 psi)

If it's an auto, that's normal.
