My first dyno

Well, I finally bit the bullet and converted to DSMap. I just wasn't happy with the tune I got on the keydiver chip. 2 days of repairing boost leaks and making new parts, and welding, and lots of other stuff. The car made 286 awhp + 224 tq. this is with 23* timing, meth injection, at 20 psi. 11.5:1 afr. I am only moderately happy at this point since the internal wastegate could not hold more than 20 psi. it spiked to 27 then fell to 20 right away. these pulls were all done in 2nd gear on the automatic. I NEED MORE BOOST.

Not bad for the 1st time! what turbo? the 16g w/ the 20 wheel? You could throw some more boost at it though

yep, that's the turbo.

My buddy has a "sleeper 20g" and the problem is once you do turn the boost up and get it too hold, it will start too surge because the wheel will start to outflow the housing. Its pretty bad and common on those turbos. Surprised you havnt had the issue yet.

not half bad for your first dyno. need a manual swap though, but good to see you are pulling almost 290 hp. If you have the money go external wastegated turbo. Should see a lot of desired improvement.

Thanks, I like the DSMap very much at this point. Definitely the best thing I have done. External WG is the next thing on the shopping list. I want to hold 25 psi and break the 300 barrier.

I am also quite happy with the torque curve. makes peak and holds it. This is with the stock converter. Stock trans except for the shift kit and end clutches.
