u can feel my turbo kick in when tha car is cold but not when it warms up need help n e 1??

ok first off what are your current mods? thats always a help in diagnosing. 2nd usualy the first thing you want to check when you are experiencing low power in a turbo engine is conduct a boost leak test, lots of info here on the forums on how to do it so I wont go into detail. Also, check all the normal wear items, such as plugs, wires, fuel filter, make sure the brakes are not dragging, make sure your knock sensor is still in good shape (no goopy crap on or around it and no wires exposed) also check your timing belt and make sure it hasn't jumped time a bit, also check to make sure your coolant temp sensor is operational (not the one that controls the gauge, the one that sends signal to the ECU), possibly run a compression/leak down test? last thing i can think of is make sure your front o2 sensor is operational. If its not operating properly when the car warms to operating temperature, you will either run pig rich or realy lean which can effect the performance and drivability of the vehicle. Well I hope that helps ya out with areas to check. but like previously stated BOOST LEAK TEST FIRST many of the issues that these cars have stem from boost leaks. also any smoke from the tail pipe? blue? black? white? Oh, and welcome to the forums!
