Well my problem is that i have my gauges on my dash do not work. There is no rpms, temperature or oil pressure dont work. When i turn my key to the on position the usual battery, check engine light, srs light nothing comes on. The only thing that works is the door ajar light. Also my power windows and my sunroof stopped working at the same time. I've checked every fuse inside and also under the hood. I also checked all the ground connections (intake, transmission bell housing and battery to firewall). Any help would be helpful as i am at lost at this point. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

How did you check the fuses? Did you just pull and look at it or did you acually test each one ?

So no rpms or speed shows? Or do you mean the lights?

Edit:
looks like fuse number 8 is your culprit it's a red 10 amp fuse check the pic below

When you used the test light did you do each side of the fuse?

One side will be hot even when blown, so false positives are possible if you didn't check both sides
I like the using continuity for fuses Because it's either connected or not connected LOL

I would still pull fuse 8 and check to see if it's 100% good and maybe some others

I used a test light on the fuses.
Theres no rpms or speed. My dimmer lights work, but the warning lights like the check engine light, battery light, srs or oil light do not come on.

Does the car run and drive?

Did this happen out of know where?or did you buy the car like that?

If every fuse checks out I'd check out the cluster,
it may not be seated fully in the dash but if this all happend at once than I suspect something blew or a wire shorted and or bad ground

Kind of a tricky one here ,
you need to inspect the wiring coming from the gauge cluster and it ain't going to be a walk in the park

You'll have to find some schematics and look for points where these systems come together and or fail together if that makes sense

Why would the sun roof ,gauge cluster, power windows ,rpm ect.. all go at once

What's the common denominator ? It's usually a fusible link

Yes i tested both sides.
I just pulled out fuse number 8 and it looks all good.

Being that the car starts and runs the ecu doesn't appear to be the problem. Maybe the etacs ecu which is the body control module more or less is toast. Do the wipers work? Door locks work? A wiring diagram would help pin point the issue. Check for power and ground to the etacs.

Well the car sat for a couple of months because it a blew a head gasket i finally got it back running about a week ago. I have double checked that i got everything connected in the engine bay and everything looks in order. I also tried another gauge cluster i had laying around but its the same. Do you have an idea of how i would go about checking the connections from behind the cluster?
Now that i was checking all my fuses once again i noticed that i wasnt getting any ground on the radio fuse under the hood. Do you know where the ground for that fuse would come from?

We'll usually from the chassis ,do you have the factory ground wire from the battery hooked up nice and tight and corrosion free battery terminals ?

You shouldn't be getting a ground on the radio fuse if you did you would blow it.
the radio has it's own dedicated ground on the stereo

How are you testing the fuses (I no a test light but how) ? I only ask to make sure your doing it correctly

As for testing the cluster wires you could remove the cluster and test for power(volts) from where the cluster attaches to
Or find the connectors under the dash and do a continuity check to make sure your not shorting out anywhere
Take a real nice look at every wire you can see look for burnt smells

Find some schematics and goto town! I only have electrical schematics for 1gs so I'm no help there

Same exact thing happened to me when I switched dashes from my 93 parts car to my 90 Talon, one of the plug ins were slightly different under the dash because I just kept all the wiring attached to the inside of the dash, moral of the story I figured it out and swapped wiring. Golden ever since. Maybe check your plugs under the dash.

Go grab a Haynes manual and look over the wiring diagrams. Since you said you tried a known to be good cluster that dosent apear to be your problem. You said the sunroof stopped working as well that's a red flag something is wrong with power distribution on that circuit Find where that is fed power and back track.
