Well...i've posted this in a few other forums...figured i'd post this here as well. Some of you can probably appreciate how clean this car is...and how lucky i was to find it.

Well, after purchasing a house and getting rid of a few vehicles...i'm finally able to start on my 91 gsx. The goal of this car is to make it a fast, reliable, easy to drive second vehicle with cold ac and somewhat soft suspension. Every part on the car will reflect what i've learned (or failed to learn) from screwing around with dsm's over the past 3-4 years.

I'm also including a price list to help illustrate what this costs.

I purchased the Tan Car for 1100.
I purchased a Parts Car for 1100. (came with motor, transmission, shocks/springs/exhaust/downpipe, supra fuel pump)
4bolt Rear: 275
extreme PSI FMIC: 850
shep tranny: 1800
Twin Disk Setup: 700
New Brake Pads: 100
New Rotors: 100

Total Price So Far (a few things i've yet to buy...but will)
~6000 Dollars

Current Plans for the car are as follows...with a brief description why...

Good Condition 4g63 (stock rods, stock pistons, new headgasket, new belts)

Shep Tranny (most likely a stage 3 with 4spider center differential)

Quartermaster Twin Disk (pedal feel is softer than ACT, more forgiving)

2inch lowering springs, Tokico Shocks (from the parts car i purchased)

2.5 inch downpipe, 3inch exhaust (enough to make 350-400whp)

Evo3 16g (will make 350hp at 20psi)

Extreme PSI FMIC Setup (fits well, reasonably priced)

4bolt rear (stronger than the 3bolt rear)

Twin Piston Front Calipers

here are a few pics...

i've been busy...but i've been able to fix some small issues and i just installed a mr freeze kit.

here are some pics...

(link: http://www.andersonfordmotorsp....html )
i have the kit hooked up and have the boost turned up to about 19-20psi. the midrange is a bit rich...but the top end is now making power because the ecu isn't seeing as much detonation. i'm going to install an safc tomorrow...to take some fuel out of the midrange...then...

i'll ramp the boost up to 25psi tomorrow when i have more time...

Jesus I forget that most of these members AREN'T punk kids...Very nice, i'm excited to get my build started. Wish I didn't have to install an engine ON EFFING GRAVEL!
Thats a hell of a steal on that tan 1g man jesus, I though I found a good one. I'm jealous of all the people who are finding good leather these days.
Nice job!

well i installed an safc...and have been driving around...trying to get a decent tune. so far i'm at -20% from 4000-7000rpm and the car continues to make more power as i take more fuel out. i may switch back to 450cc injectors and go from there. its also worth mentioning that i diluted the methanol mix so its now a 70-30 (meth/water) combination. in any case...here are a few more pics.
