loosing power in my 91 gsx

hopefully you guys can help me my car keeps loosing power real bad like when im sitting at a light i can watch my headlights die out when i hit the gas they come back on my stereo cuts out all the time and when i get into and my i start to boost my rear defrosters will come on and i have to keep turning them off threw every gear LOL please any suggestion help:dsm:
 
It is either going to be your battery or your alternator dying. I would say battery because everything works fine while the car is charging when you are moving but at a stoplight everything goes dim because the alternator isn't putting out as much voltage. Take your car to a parts store, Napa, Autozone...something like that. They will be able to test your alternator and battery for free and tell you which one is bad. Sounds like you have some serious electrical issue's with your car, like your defroster is shorting to another power source. Could al be symptoms of the dying battery though.
