OK THANK YOU

thats kinda what we talked about.
But since the whole exhaust system is gonna be custom that will take care of that problem.
and
Also We are gonna eleminate the cross member too so that will take care of that also.....

so it looks like im good then !!

So Where is the downpipe going to go exactly then, I'm assuming new motor mount points are going to be installed, along with chassi upgrades for stability right? Can you shine any light on any of this, or is it still under wraps?

the front and rear motor mount will remain the same but the crossmember will be elimated. ill try to explain.
one arm will come from the driver side, the other from the passanger side.....
both arms will meet at the point were the front mount is.
like a V........
also traction bars are going to be made and incorperated in there somewhere too

not too sure hoe the down pipe is going to go because .....the shop is still deciding on were to mount the turbo........
but
it looks like the turbo is going to end up some where behind the driver side headlight.

Reason being? Diagonal strength? Less body flex?

MB

yes it will be stronger due to the triangluation and it will fex less because it ties more of the front end toghter.
also i will loose weight too.

also the rear mount and bracket will also be made out of alum for weight loss too.....

also also all 4 mounts will be solid to eliminate engine torsion

ohhh yeah ohhh yeah you still smell like tamales and aint gonna catch me , cause im the ginga bread man yeah:thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :beatentodeath:

LOL ROFL

Check this link....Ginga bread man

P.S. (mods we really need a 420a BS section)

But to get back on topic....

For the aluminum mount design, is that something that is just going to copy the stock mounts in design or is this something that the shop building your car could put on the market? And are they planning on producing any of the custom stuff?

^^^^^^^^^

the alum mounts are going to repalce the stock stock ones Except the front one which is going to be attached to the V we talked about

ok
alot of the custom parts that are going on my car, i also get to keep the jig for the parts and...and....iam planning on releasing my own line of 420a products
but
that might take a little bit because im also going to set up a web site too.....but that is all up in the air and is a big secret tooo.

You mean, it was a big secret. :)

We need new pics. It's been awhile.

nice ride. I just don't care for those mirrors but good luck with your project. Too bad you didn't go with a gst/x for 700hp =) That would be a little easier to hit the 700hp mark.

It seems like anything we bring up about the car, you come back and say it's something uber extreme and custom hahaha...really can't wait to see pics and videos of your car in the 12's hehe

i know i know i have been hounding them about pics i call them almost everyday and they say " yes we know we promised you pics. we will send them" all i can do is wait
sorry guys
im just as anxious as everyone else is

its funny because almost everything is getting replaced by something custom LOL

I thought about a GSX but it has been done before

LOOK AT THE INTAKE MANIFOLD!!!!!OMG

it looks awsome, The TB is a 90mm Accufab.
also
my cams and solid lifters and the additional bolt holes in my flexplate

The IM looks good, but it looks alot like the OBX unit. Was it custom? What is that welding on the end tank by the upper plenum's TB? I'm guessing you welding on the flange for your TB? Regardless, looks good. Do you have any flow info for the manifold as far as stock vs. this one goes?

Did you have the runners knife edged or no? Doesn't look like it, and I would highly recommend it. Increasing velocity before the injectors is very beneficial for premium combustion.

No doubt, Mark.

Zero: What is your intended turbo setup and tuning solution? (Sorry if you already said already, but I am not re-reading 5 pages to see if it was mentioned previously. :) )

Thats good looking stuff, BTW.

the intake looks good ,i was going to do the same thing but didnt because i wanted the runners on the intake to be alot bigger , in the future im going have a intake custom made
using the 90mm tb but for now i like what i have now , good work on the intake hope everything eles comes out great.

The IM is a Venom, the welding is to attach the TB flange to the IM.

The turbo setup is not finished and the stanalone is not wired up yet either BUT will be soon.

I have had the stock head and stock intake manifold put on the flow bench, and once the shop has alredy done the flow test on the head after the P&P.....but i do not have the results but the shop tells me that there was a very big improve ment......next they will test the new IM and see what improvements are over the stock unit......but im pretty sure that there is just a little bit more flow there LOL

thanks for all the support

Of course with all the money you're throwing at them, I'm sure they're gonna tell you that everything is making huge gains...ya know, just going bigger everywhere doesn't necessarily equal more power, there's a couple things known as velocity and volumetric efficiency that kinda play a minor role in the whole situation hehe. meh, I'm just blabbing though, you have the awesome shop doing all the work for ya, so hopefully it all turns out well...
