hey guys,
i've got a 92 plymouth laser awd 5sp with 86k miles on it. the car has been sitting around for almost a year now ( the couple months that ive had it and the previous owner). the car ran perfectly fine before, no smoke outta the exhaust, no leakin 14b, a little litfer tick but nothin major. the car needed an ecu. i got one from mitsu graveyard, but i tried to start the car and it wouldla fire up, just crank and crank and crank...... so i narrowed it down to a fuel problem. opened up the trap fuel door and saw there was plenty fuel so i figured it was the pump or the filter. i changed out the filter for a new oem and dropped in a walbro 255. then it happened, i got the dsm bug and started wantin everything. so now the car has full suspension, full exhaust on the way, blah blah blah blah, read the profile. i also have an evo16g on the way to mount up to the cast sbr mani i bought. anyway, wut are the chances that the car will be fine after sittin around and gettin worked on for a year? cuz i dont have the money for a complete engine rebuild rite now. when primin the turbo should i lube up the pistons through the spark plugs holes do they dont score the cylinder walls? i plan on runnin the car through many oil changes before its on the road.
no i havent done a compression test since i got the car but the previous owner said he did one about a year ago and it was good then.
