Car has been sitting for 2 years.

I blew my bottom end of my engine about 2 years ago. and I has NOT moved for 2 years. I am now thinking about replacing the whole engine. But my question is, what sort of problems will i run into with the car being still for 2 years?

I know the roters need to be redone, the body hasn't got any new rust.

is it worth me putting a new engine in it? or should I just buy a new one?

I have heard sitting is the worst things for cars.

You will probably need to replace any seals in the car, and any hoses or lines that are made of rubber. I wouldn't just slap in a new engine, just get your engine rebuilt.

Just make sure that your lines under the car are still in tact. It would really suck to try to drive your car and realize that a mouse chewed through your brake lines.

the situation im in. is my car's body and interior is in VERY good condition.
and I was stuck between the line of should I put a new engine in or buy a new car for the price of a new engine.

rebuild will cost a lot.

and I wanted to ask this question to see if the car was worth keeping or not.

rebuild would be cheaper than a new engine, but a used JDM might not be a bad idea.

as amp said watch those rubber parts. Timing belt would be included in that.
