Top of the tech page has the major answers. But fluids oil, trans, broken/cracked/worn hoses. Leaking gaskets/seals. Timing belt you don't know when it was done last or is due. Basically things that could be wrong. Breaks, tires you will be able to tell really what needs replacing. Not saying that ALL those are but you should be able to tell.

Change alll fluids, It might have lot rot, Which is when you leave an engine sitting for along time the seals and gaskets get dry and start cracking/ deteriorating. which is a possibility depending where it was sitting, but yes change all fluids and I'd do new plugs and wires, I had a 92 talon that sat for 1 year with a broken T-belt and the wire insulation was rotted/ dryed pretty bad actually and would crack if I bent them in a U shape But you really want to get ALL of that old oil out for sure and put some new oil in make sure the belts and everything are PERFECT especially the t belt pleasee.. And when you run it I would change the oil AND filter every few hundred miles just so you get all of the old oil/ sludge COMPLETELY of the engine and also change the fuel filter, and drain re fill tcase and trans Which are also very important..

make sure you check all your wires for corrosion. This includes spark plug wires, wiring harness, battery leads, ground wires, alternator connections, and interior connections. I would also recommend taking the oil pan off and cleaning it, simply changing the fluids isn't going to clean out settled contaminates. The fuel in the tank also needs to be attended too.

Thats the least I would do, but some people rather not get that far into it, But yes the fuel if any is in there must be taken out its no good after it sits for a long time turns into a varnishy?? after a while it will get very sticky and gooey and clog up the fuel lines and willstick in the tank.
