Hello. What is the most powerful true bolt-on turbo for a 2G? Looking to move from the 25G. Is a front mount intercooler necessary when stepping up or will the stock or an upgraded side mount work. How about exhaust plumbing and fuel? Also, I don't want to lose any fans or hack the the car up to make a change. What are my options? Thanks, TP

It sounds like you're not ready for a larger turbo. How are you running a 25g with no supporting modifications?

He obviously meant the t25.
First I think researching the topic would probably yield you the most info. And to answer your questions, yes you will need an upgraded intercooler. If you dont want to hack your car up then just get a supra sidemount, its cheap and can hold lots of power. As for turbo you could go with a t28, it looks just like your t25 and flows a little less then a 16g.

You most definitely need a front mount, injectors, regulator, safc, 1g BOV and a fuel pump.

Agreed. With any turbo upgrade, you should be prepared to buy all the supporting mods with it. Only thing is that the OP is a 2G so if they do a 190 pump they should be fine with the stock FPR. The only things I add to your list are a logger of some sort, and also any piping that is still stock would need to be upgraded to higher quality units.
