Alright i've done many searches and read alot of post about the Bt28 but still have some questions here.
I want quick boost because i have a/t and its a dd, im not a big fan of brake boosting because the hell it puts on the tranny.
My goal is around 300 whp or close to it with out race fuel or going out of the efficiency range of the turbo. Can this be done with a a BT28 or is there a better way to go?
the t25 is on its way out a lil to much shaft play so i plan to replace it over the winter, im on a budget and cant buy everything at once. i planed on doing the fuel system first but i need a turbo soon. :talon:

when does boost come on with the to4b vtrim??? i see it flow about 10lbs more lbs then the bt28.

evo3-full boost by 3000, great transient responce, lots of top end potential

evo 3 sounds more like my tastes, with full boost around 3000 instead 4000 with vtrim. since im not looking to make monster power out of it just a fun buzz around car. more of an autox setup.
will my 2g o2 housing work if i port the hell out of it? or am i better buying a new housing?

I would go with the Bt28. Its a bolt on and will spool fast, and pull close to the same as the Evo.

If you have a serious interest in driving the backroads or autox I would advise you to not go with something like a T04B/T04E/20g size turbo. Other than the lag associated with turbos of these size, the power delivery will be hard and all at once, which I'm sure is what you want mid-apex.
My big 28 gives me about all the power I can handle right now and won't scare the shit out of me if I get on the gas--so I'd recommend it or an evo 3

Paul(NANO) from alaskamotorsports ran a high 11 sec. run on a bigt28.
