did quite a bit of searched and havent found much..
anyways i want to mold the side skirts and rear bumper to my car, is having full prothane motor mounts on my car going to vibrate them alot to the point of cracking? i was going to fiberglass them to the car...i have them screwed onto the car, 3 screws on top and 5 on the bottom, then i was going to fiberglass over them...

how long will it last if its done right, and will the fiberglass hold for a very long time??

will the molded side skirts look funny if i dont mold the door caps as well, or should i just remove the door caps all together? (i have buddy club 2 side skirts)

same questions apply for the rear bumper, will it last?

If you mold with fiberglass the right way you can hit the darn thing with a hammer and not crack it. so I think that a little vibration will be not match for it.(make sure you use mesh fiberglass when molding.)
hope this helps

a good fiberglass molding job will hold up better than most people think. mine has the sides and rear molded on. I have bottomed out with the rear more than once got hung up on the sides basicly every thing I shouldnt have done and there are still no cracks in the molding, the body kit did take a beating though

I just finished molding the sides and rear on an Impreza I am working on. Make sure you sand down the paint to bare metal and make sure you use something like. On parts that need more than just some fill, I would use a mesh cloth (or fiber) and fill over that.

If you do it right it should last quite a long time. I'm debating if I will do it on my eclipse or not. you're limited to that kit once it is molded on.

mine is molded.. and it held up fine till i backed up and my side skirt hit a curb.. put a little crack.. and then when someone kicked the bottom of my door and put a nice dent in it.. .it cracked a little bit where i filled in the bumper things on the door.. other then that.. it has done well.. all this on the driver side.. passenger.. all good..
