Modify stock ic

So I can pickup a stock intercooler for $30. I was wondering if anyone has welded two together. (front to back) i noticed the supra ic is really thick and suppose to work better. I have no doubt that i can do it but was wondering if it would work efficiently? I have searched and seen people talking about it but has anyone?

I don't know what kind of resources you have or the kind or skills you have with welding but you cant just weld aluminum together with a regular mig/tig welder. I've herd using flux core could work but it will probably be sloppy and not airtight.

If you really can do it then you can also enlarge the inlet and outlets of the stock IC, which are pretty restrictive also.

Ya i was going to inlarge inlet and outlet. I got the idea from dejon. Seen they do that service.
