Hey all, I have a 98 GSX (in my profile) and I had a small question. I would like to run my upper IC pipe like the VRSF piping, which goes straight from the TB elbow to the IC pipe at the front of the car. But unlike the ones i've seen, the AT dipstick is smack right in the middle of where it would go. Is there an easy way to modify it to not be in the way that is common? I thought of getting another tube, reversing the bend at the bottom where it goes into the trans, and flipping the entire thing around backwards and relocating the tab so it still bolts down.

I'm just really looking for how others have dealt with this problem. I barely know anyone locally with auto DSM's. Thanks.

I just left mine bolted in and pushed it where it would clear. The tube is pretty easily bent out of the way. Make sure take it slow and only do as much as you need so you don't have any sealing issues

I did the same on my previous Auto 2g Awd. Put a large screw driver in the hole and bend it to the left (when looking straight ahead) should clear fine after a few test fits. Make sure the dip stick always goes in and comes out with ease. Don't bend it a lot at once, do it a little at a time you'll be fine.

Get a dipstick and tube from a Stealth/ 3000Gt..Its alot shorter..
