1G modded a/c evaporator box for full a/c delete?

has anyone modified the stock evaporator box to fully get rid of the a/c stuff? trying to find a cost effective way to get rid of the a/c stuff under the dash and keep the heater.

Its been 10 years since I did a AC delete, but I'm positive you remove the evap. Basically you gut it. Theres a shroud/box for NON a/c but thats probably JDM shit nowadays.

I regret removing mine, unless you doing a full out race car.

Try to find an n/a, non a/c car and steal it's evap (non-evap) box from it. I used to have one and I binned it years ago thinking I'd never want it. Now I scour yards for them, but nothing yet.

Could always custom make something, but effort...

its not anything i daily drive, its a weekend driver/ race car. it has none of the other ac stuff either.

well modding mine seems to be my only other option. ive tried calling a few yards and they have nothing.

Pull the metal part out, tape up the hole with HVAC tape, put it back in the car. You can also get a non AC firewall grommet from JNZ.

thanks for the link sir im kinda curious if i could use the grommet to fill in the hole in the evap box as well and just use some kind of sealant to make it stay.
