Mixing Race Gas?

93 is not race gas.Its just premium,you know the only fuel alowed in a stock turbo model dsm.

I think hes saying he runs 116 octane mixed with 93 octane.

Or the super Autozoners that pour octane booster in, and hope it will bring it up more that 2 octane.

If you have a tuning system, it will allow you to lean it out and run a little more boost/timing, and make more power.

Guys, sounds like he is saying that his local gas station sells race gas, as well as 93. What octane is that race gas, by the way? And what amounts were going to be mixed?
Don't think there will be a problem running it as long as engine is tuned to the mixture and mixture is same every fill-up.

Without a tune? Maybe. Might foul up the plugs a bit during idle/cruise.

You find 110 at the pump? Theres a place about 20 miles from me that has that. Great stuff. Ran a tank once before i switched to e85. But i have link.... I would suggest a tuning solution first.

I run two gallons of e85 to 14 gallons of premuim.No knock boiii.

If you were smart you could look up the fuel maps and calculate the exact percentage of E85 it would take to get it leaned out to an ideal AFR instead of 9:1, then give it just a dash of timing.

I took this idea to the max long ago on a mostly stock car and went 107mph in the 1/4 with pure E85, and some sophisticated trickery.

Yea i was saying they offer race gas at the pump. My roommate use to getit for his race jetskis. But i doubt ican reach its max potential with no tuning but without tuning would it make a difference running a few gallans in my tank with 3/4 of the tank 93

Did this before switching to e85 ful time. I almost want to go back to it.90% of the benefits(on my setup). Was able to flow around 48lbs with a 25% mix of e85 and 93. Evo8mod1 timing table, untouched
