Mil.Spec harness????

Ive been looking for a few years, i remember seeing brian posting something on 2g connectors for mitsu i think they were making connectors and a harness i just saw the thread this week.

it replaces bad connectors and cleans things up not sure on details yet, at least its got some options or my future build, builds.

I'm really thinking of buying a oem harness and just turning it into what I want, don't get me wrong it would be great to be able to just buy a new harness that was plug and play but $1500 damn that is a lot of money.

Well there were three to choose from or make your own, dealership ones are close to 900 when i last checked. I modified mine but my connectors are in near mint shape or i replaced them. Still im curious to see learn more about that harness, and pics, im sure it can be modifed to what you only need. there isnt much to eliminate that goes to engine bay, i think the ac fan switch for me since i gutted all my ac years back, and never plan on using it again unless i move to phoenix or some hot climate. LOL

Can harnesses still be purchased from Mitsubishi for the 2g's? Because I'd also like to make my own harness like another member suggested. And I could even extend some wires to do a wire tuck. There's a lot of wires I'd like to remove from the main harness just to clean things up.

That actually isn't a bad idea. Since I'll be cutting and soldering, I might as well start with something used. On the other hand, something new would be nice to work on so I know that none of the connectors are broken.

Last i checked mines was 900 bucks from dealer with my discount LOL, looking at the milspec, also going to clean min up when i get my tsi experimented before so i know whats in take and what im looking for as a end result, clean and less is better.
