Just had a few questions. I searched but really didnt find my answer. I have a 2.4 sohc 8 valve motor in my mighty max. My question is can I put a 4g63 head on it with out any modifications other than wiring harness, ecu,etc... I wasnt sure of this beacuse the 8 valve head, didnt know if there would be problems with valves hitting going to a 16 valve head. Any advice will be appreciated thanks..

Check this link out, read through the whole thing, initial posts are mis info.

I second that. Those pic's I posted above are of my incomplete truck project. I used the stock 1990 Mighty Max 2.4L 6-bolt block and a 4G63 head. I had to use the ~1994 Galant 2.4L DOHC timing belt and head gasket, along with the DSM timing gears, front case, and alternator. Hopfully I will get motivated soon to get this thing done and write a little FAQ or something.

Looks to be the same idea as the guys putting the 2.4 strokers in the dsms :thumb:
