Bro im gona have to disagree there. a 20 year old car is gona break alot more than a 11-13 year old car.theres gona be alot more parts that he gona have to change just to have it up to date.. unless he a die hard 1g guy like u and me. he gona end up hating the car. i had a 98 and sold it to get my 91 and i knew what i was getting into.. now if your gona get a 1g get a 90 or 91. 1g and 2g are both pretty easy to work on. if i was him and really wanted a pretty 2g i find me a blown gsx for cheap. find me a six bolt and drop it in.
Yea but i mean it in another way, hes going to learn on that car 1500$ thats a blown turbo no clutch crank walking 2g
finding a nice 2g without a problem for that price iits very complicated, maybe around 3500$+ you could find a well taken care off Dsm anyways its your choice, and hell yea so much space on 1g bay i was thinking about swapping a 2jz
jk but yea theyr pretty easy to work on and find problems thats what i love about... im not liking the idea off forging the internals tho but ill give it a shot in a few months...

you fix 1 thing and another breaks untill you fix everything
