Are you serious? Do you even know me or how many meets I've been to? Even without owning a dsm for the last couple of years? Dude I'm definitely not new to the dsm game, I think you got shit twisted. I just got this new dsm running and was actually thinking of driving an hour to Miami because I don't know any Miami dsmer's except Jose (Dsmj89) but now I'm happy I didn't go, especially with assholes like you around. No thanks.

And one of the main reasons why the meets keep getting so damn small each time. Because people think this way. No offense. Not bashing on you, but there is quite a few people who think like this.


I am extremely disappointed in the turn out today. So many people knew about this meet ahead of time, and made no attempt to try and make it. 6 people that I know off the top of my head over slept, (Not naming even though I should) whatever.

I mean it's all fine and dandy. This is an optional event that we come together for to have a good time. This isn't forced at all in anyway. This is for fun. But when you have people saying "oh yeah we're gonna be there!" "Yeah I can't wait for the meet!" and people who do show driving from a far distance only to see what? 3-8 cars? That's bull shit in my opinion.

I think we saw more DSM's passing by us then DSM's on the actual meet spot. And that's a quote from someone who said that today. If you guys aren't going to take this serious, then why bother hosting these monthly events? I had a bunch of other shit I could have been doing, and missed spending a whole day with my gf.

These meets used to be huge. We at one point had 2-3 rows of DSM's, and another row of Evo's, Red Bull give aways, ect. Now for the past couple months we've been wasting our time pretty much.

I understand cars go down, people can't make it because of other events, bad weather, ect. But for almost 3 consecutive meets? No way man, I'm seeing way too much of "I really don't give a s***" or "I'll go there when there's a lot of people"

If you have a appreciation for DSM's, there's not a lot of places you can go around in Florida other then Orlando once a year, or a DSMforum to share and talk about that appreciation. We don't have East Coast DSM near us or anything. Which is why we have these End of Sunday meets. So we can all get together.

If you guys don't want to do this, then please just say so, so we can all stop wasting our time and move on.


After everyone left this meet to go home, 3 more DSM's showed up, as then it was only AG305 and myself left. Made us look horrible.




A last attempt to even do this again. Nov 28th. 12PM

If the meet turns out like it did again, I'm pretty much done with this thread, having it locked, and disregarding reading the Miami-forums period.

Ill give it a shot next month if people are going i drove from Sawgrass mall area up and down in my not so stock car i don't see why people couldnt make it

Ya for sure man. I was there today with the car. I showed up a little late though around 2. The car looks the same except the paint job has gone to shit LOL

you should make the meet one week earlyer at least the 21 because of the holidays guys are most likely out of town :hmm: but yea this meet really sucked everyone was just standing there :notgood::notgood:

Already tried that for Halloween, and that didn't really work well. It won't really matter. This is either going to work or not, regardless of the week difference.
 
Few people here have tempers, i stopped even saying if i was going going or not cause i don't like to give false info or hope, so i just stay quiet, and hopefully the damn boss accepts my next time request off for next month's dsm meet so i can go, if he rejects it i'll be god dammed.

Anywho, it'll really suck to see the dsm meets disappear, especially now how ever so fast the dsm group is growing, at least here in hialeah between us locals over here, we already have about 10-11 just in ourselves.

We are lacking motivation, and i agree with a few people on here, if people keep having the mentality of " oh if it's good i'll show" then forget about it...

I will try my best to have my day off request accepted for next month's meet to show, even if it means going with someone else due to my dsm not being ready, i'll go, and chris i'll try and help out this time to arrange this meet.
 
I have a good reason for not showing up...

I got my license plate taken away on Friday for unpaid parking tickets (never happened to me in Philly but I guess states have different laws)...just got back from the courthouse, paid all the tickets and got my plate back.
 
Just to throw in an idea maybe we can do next meets on week earlyer cause no one is going to I garantee on that and we can also do it at sunlife tail gate for a while and then go catch a game I NEED FEEDBACKS ON THIS IDEA (also if we are still doing monthly meets December is going to be a bad turn out also cause look at the date)

i personally would say to just have the next meet in january. there are too many holidays around the dates for these upcoming months and i feel as if that will give people reasons to not show up. if we do the next big meet at the end of january then that would be a better judge to whether or not this idea will work. we cannot have our possible "last" meet in a month with major holidays. just a thought.

Jose how that be f**cking complicated bro get ## car and drive to the sunlife and hangout and watch te game it's almost as easy as driving to tropical and for those who actually show up can watch the game those who don't miss the meet and the game I see it as a win win stiuation

Dam i think we should give up already and stick to the hangouts this is not going to work, not anymore its really #### up what happened, ill give it one more shot but to a track meet at this point i dont give a dam im fwd, clutch slips, need new tires, 2 step 1000rpm later i just want to see a hole parking lot full off all type of cars!!!!!!

about the hangout thing its getting really annoying that cops come every 5 min to brake it up and all to end up at wendys and then from there go home at 12:45 and yea its ture that your saying its mess up to the guys that did show up to end up with 8 cars tops
