There are three bigger brands I know of. AEM, Snow, and DevilsOwn. You can research more from there in what suits your needs. I am getting the DevilsOwn kit. They have one specifically for dsms.

I know about them already I was hoping for feed back, from people that have them or used them.

Well when I ran meth back in the day on my 50trim, it worked like it was sapose, real small power gains but didn't really seem all that nessacary. But my honest opinion you can live without it, I wouldn't worry about it to much unless u making alot more power, I would spend your money more on something else like ecmlink. Also i think meth kits are about $300. Here is a direct qoute from AEM.
1.Lowers Inlet Temps, Decreases Chance of Detonation
2.Run More Boost and Timing
3.Depending on Your Vehicle Add 15-20% HP, 20-25% More Torque!

Thanks, I am gonna be after the winter, my 240sx is fully built and when the snow clears, I'm taking it out and building my gsx.But as of right now I wanna have everything ready on it except the motor.

I have had good luck with my Devil's Own kit. I have had it on my car for around two years and haven't had a failure or any issues. I ran straight methanol, 50/50 meth/water, straight water, and windshield washer fluid. I would recommend it. I feel that it definitely gives you a safety margin while tuning.

Which kit is it, is it the stage 2 with the map sensor

I also use devilsown stage 2 with 100% methanol, and have had no problems, as far as map sensor I run a 3.5 bar AEM one, but with the devilsown progressive controller it has a plug on back were u stick a vacuum hose to let it know how much boost your running, very nice kit.

Im not sure of the best brands, but I have heard some bad things about water injection. water+metal=oxidation? I had a friend that ran water injection and he ended up with rust in his cylinders? not sure if this is common, just something you might wanna look into!

Yes. It was the DSM Stage 2 w/ MAP sensor and progressive controller. I just checked my receipts and it was $450.00 with a tank and a float switch in February of 2008.

I haven't torn my engine down since running methanol injection, so I can't comment on the condition of the internals. I have notice a little bit of surface rust on the inside of my steel intercooler piping by the throttle body where it sprays and there is a little bit of corossion on the throttle body blade. I just clean it occasionally and it hasn't given me any problems yet. I can't see how anything could get rusty inside the cylinder unless you just sprayed a ton and shut it down and let it sit for a long time. I'll have to take my head off one of these years and have a look in there.

That's the kit I'm gonna buy,I don't like this talk about corrosion and rust in the heads, but I herd about the meth doing it to the metal I'ma ask about it and look into it but I still wanna perchase it.

I have been running it for three years and would do it again. I think it's a good decision.

I run it more for the hot summer months, its hard to push high boost when its 100deg outside. In the past during the summer the car felt much slower than it did in the colder months. Meth keeps the car from loosing so much power when it gets hot out

I purchased The AEM Water/Methanol Injection System, the newest one out it's a mixture of snow performan and devils own goes up to 39 psi and has all these nice features, I got a 5 gallon tank.

I wouldn't run windshield wiper fluid, might build up gunk on the internals, from not burning clean.

Blue washer fluid works great. It's about 30% meth 70% water which makes it non flamable and readily available. Don't use any other color washer fluid there are additives in them. Will not rust your cylinders. I ran a cooling mist kit on my turbo dodge for almost 100k. I got inside it after blowing a head gasket. There was no rust or carbon build up on anything. The meth mix steam cleans your engine as you use it.
