EXTREME PSI : Your #1 Source for In Stock Performance Parts

It is easy. ShurFlo high-psi pump with Viton seals. Clear tubing to engine bay. Pressure switch on intake. Solenoid that can deal with a 50/50 mix. Nozzles from McMaster-Carr.

As Stated above it is not very hard to build your own kit. You can use shurflow pumps or one from devils own, Shurflow is cheaper.

Items you will need is a pump, Nozzles,High pressure switch, relay,Wire, Brass fittings,Water tank, Then either denatured alcohol, Distilled water

You can aquire parts from NorthernTool, McMaster Carr, Napa autparts, home depot, Lowes.

Just Buy a few nozzle sizes to test out and see which works best for you. They have them in small up to large.

Hereis a great diy write up on how to do it, with part numbers. http://www.turbomirage.com/water.html

thats awesome. sounds like it would be much cheaper then buying an actual kit. do ya know of any write ups step by step on how to build one that has pics that ya can pass me the link to?

sweet. ima start on getting this parts to build it. thanks. it makes it a whole lot easier.

Same link popped up in my head when he asked. ROFL

side note I have noticed when using washer fluid, You cant just use any brand. -20 degree's below zero as it will contain a large percentage of methanol mixed with water. Make sure to check the bottle and that it contains methanol as there are some eco friendly windshield washer fluids rated below zero which do not contain any methanol which you do not want to use.

okay.any washer fluid you recommend in particular that would be good to use?

WalMart Brand has been good. Just make sure to read the bottle as I stated in another post. Also some brands may add some other stuff in there just check the additives.

You can also use HEET(gas line antifreeze) it is pure meth and is a great booster to washer fluid.

You can also use rubbing alcohol (isopropanol) it's expensive though as in weight.

And again denatured alcohol or Plain water(Distilled water) Dont use tap water. Tap water contains to many minerals and will clog your system over time.

(for mixing HEET with washer fluid)
Basic mixing instructions are as follows. Take for example 1 gallon of negative -20 degree below zero windshield washer fluid, which is approximately 30% methanol 70% water. By adding four 12oz bottles of Heet, to the one gallon of windshield washer fluid will give you a 50/50 mix of water and methanol.

Hope this help's. If you have any more Questions just ask. :thumb::thumb:

Quick note. Do not use the pink washer fluid from WalMarts Or the Green washer fluid

can this be put into a vehicle without any certain modifications? Im installing a big 16g this weekend

This is looking better and better. Tempting. This or switch to e85, thats the question for most of us.
The switch to e85: Wally 450 and min 1650cc/min injectors= about 600-700 dollars. This mod is a hell of alot cheaper and will produce some very good results but residual costs will mount, albeit slowly, with the need for fluid.

same as with the reduced mileage of the e-85 so its about even

and its not like its always in use unlike the e-85

exactly. Personally, it would be a good choice for a car like mine that sees less than 5k miles a year. Shit, maybe 3k miles. Its a weekender. My costs for filling the water/meth tank would be very slim. Ok, ive talked myself in! LOL
I just want to wring this damn turbo out for all its worth and knock is keeping me just short of 53lbs/min right now. I can get more with cooler air, and the best way tried and proven for decades is water/meth
