I read back through alot of articles and I'm still having a hard time deciding if i'd rather run E85 or use meth injection. Right now the meth kit installed by english would cost me about a grand and to switch to E85 I'd only have to get some 1600cc injectors since I already have a 255 and an inline 255. The price isn't much of a concern and I'm not too concerned with having to drive 20-30 minutes out of my way to get the e85. I just wanna go with the better setup. What are the limits of both systems and how much better would it be if I ran both?

I would pick E85, as i am running it and love it.
I dont what its limits are but where i live we have countless dsm's running 400-600 and some 750+ on E85 and they are doing just fine.
I dont think you would gain much with running E85 and meth, but thats just me

I've been wanting to run E85 and meth, you'd have to use alot of meth though.. somthing like 30% of you total consumption. I beleve you would see gains using both. altough E85 is GREAT stuff, meth has more octane and also has a greater rate of cooling. with that said, I'm not sure how much of a gain you would see, could be as little as 10 to 15 hp, or maybe even as much as 35-40. A problem with meth is that you have another fuel system to worry about.. E85 would deffintly be the most straight forward approch. I would say that you would see much more power with straight E85 than you would with your typical meth injection w/pump gas setup.

That's tough, as meth will get you gains no matter what fuel you are running, so if e85 ever goes away, or you get stuck somewhere without it, you'll still have that as a power adder.

But, if it was my money, I'd spend the money on injectors for e85 first. You've got what looks like a great setup, if it's all installed (parts wishlist response?). You will be downright amazed at how much more power you can make just by switching to e85, and a set of used 1600's will be a lot less than the meth setup. I switch between e85 and 91oct on occasion, and the 91 is like a slow death comparatively LOL. Swap to e85, add some timing, and have fun. If that's not enough to keep you smiling, then grab the meth kit, and with the AEM EMS you'll be golden no matter which fuel you are running.
