Hello!

I am new on DSM Tuners. I know that if I have problems with my car I can look up all the threads at this website until I found a thread with (almost) same problems. But I come from Germany and my English is not so good. So maybe you could help me with my problems on a 2G Eclipse.

The car pushes oil into the valve cover. But the oil is not going back. We have checked the oil level before starting the engine (it was at maximum). Just a few seconds after starting the engine the signal for checking oil level turned on. We have checked again and it was at minimum or less.

Another problem is that there is coming light blue smoke out of the exhaust at more than 3000 r.p.m.

At the same r.p.m. (3000) the car sometimes don't take the gas correctly - it's stuttering.

Another problem with the oil is that it is pused out of the valve cover through a vent hose.

The engine is getting very hot and it is cooled all the time.

There are intenisve deposits of soot on exhaust and back spoiler.

I would be very grateful if you could help me with my problems.

Kind regards
Tino

bryan,

welcome aborad European brother!!! :thumb: I'm Czech Republic native originally....

There is suppose to be oil under the valve cover. It's there to oil the over head can. Do you actaully see the oil flowing out thru the valve hose in and decent amount??

Blue smoke means you are burning oil excessively which is not good.

As for the overheating engine, your coolant engine level must be too low so check it and fill it up accordingly.
