2G Common problems with Eclipse 420A?

My friend is looking to get a 1999 eclipse 420A. before we go and look at it is there any thing to look for on these cars that are common problems.

It'll probably have the same problems every other car has. I really haven't heard of anything major by what 420a owners i know have except the common timing belt snapping or old parts starting to fail. But in any case they are good motors, not performance wise but for daily driving they are very good but if he decides to buy 1, make sure you get a good tune-up and change the oil and it should be fine, if it has higher than 100,000 miles (which it probably does) make sure you change the timing belt.
