Hey everyone blew my T25 turbo. White smoke. Bad. Compression test came out bad, took all the bullshit neons out and sound system, tightened all lines checked for boost leaks cleaned the car up, put in a T25 yesterday with no oil lines and everythings working perfect and im so pumped. Only thing is I ordered injectors, pump, tuning device and o2 sensor so im keeping boost around 13psi now and now really pushing it to much.. I drove up and down my road and boost stopped at like 14psi so i took on highway and Volkswagon was coming off exit and I gave it some gas to get in front and it pulled so hard looked at gauge and read 18PSI I almost shit my pants cause I thought MBC stopped it at 14. Guess not I was wordering if it's installed wrong or im doing anything wrong heres some pics.

Thats my MBC going into turbo, from the control part of the MBC one line goes into intake and the other goes down into a T, the T has two lines one goes into actuaor, then the other goes to where to turbine of the turbo is theres a nipple, into there, I really couldnt get a picture of the nipple.

Im having the same issue on my 95. I have the same exact MBC as you do, except mine is red. Im guessing its an ebay knock off of some sort, but I get the feeling that it doesnt really do shit. I have it turned about a 1/4 turn from the closed position and i still run close to 15psi. Somehow that doesnt make any sense to me. So im going to ditch this one and get one of the hallman MBC's.

As seen in the link you need to have one line to your wastegate and one line to your pressure source (compressor housing, j-pipe, or lower intercooler pipe). Take that one off your intake and cap the nipple.

you have you lines wrong, one goes to the intercooler pipe, j pipe, or compressor housing as mentioned above, then the other one to the wastegate actuator. none to the intake

If that were a ball and spring controller you would be correct, but it is a bleeder style boost controller so that is how it is supposed to be hooked up.
