MAS test procedure

How do you test to see if a MAS is still working correctly? I couldnt find it in any FAQ, manual or book.

normally when there is something wrong with the mas it will throw a CEL. Hope that helps..not sure if ya can test them or not.

thanks for the reply.. no CEL on my car yet, but I have the volt meter hooked up to the self diagnosis wire almost all the time. (I havent gotten out of the driveway yet). I dont think it is the MAS now that I've swapped another in. I've also swapped my FPR and injectors. I've check most other sensors as well as compression and leakdown and am starting to beleive its the ECU that's giving me hell.

The code I get off the self diagnosis terminal is the one that just wags back and forth... this is the "normal" code right?
