MAP or Throttle body sensor??? please help

Hey all! I just got a 91 Eclipse GS with the 1.8L non turbo, got it as a project car was left sitting for 2 years from previous owner. Car is cranking but no turn over :/ after inspecting the usual (gas, oil, coolant) I came across this sensor that was re wire on the throttle body, now I am new to the DSM community, I was wondering if y’all can let me know if this is a throttle body or MAP sensor?

It was done really sketch from the previous owner and some pins are not connecting from the way they re-wire it please help! I am dying to drive this car

It would be a large headache to get a 1.8 I to a gsx just to get it driving? Are you sure you have a gsx? Verify vin tags etc?

I think what you're looking at is idle speed control.
