MAF translator or safc

just wondering if the MAF translator is better or equal to a Apexi Super air fuel controller?
can they do he same thing?

They pretty much have the same outcome.

This has been discussed A LOT but..

My personal opinion is that as a first gen you should lean toward the MAFT because the 1st gen tends up upgrade the MAS sooner then the 2nd gen. One more thing about the MAFT set up is you can vent if you are into that stuff. S-AFC alone wont let you do that.

i have an afc but am trying to figure out to keep or get the maft.

An AFC will be more accutrate then the MAFT becasue it adjust in smaller increments, buit like it has already been said the stock 1G MAF is a big restriction. I would use both the tune with. The MAFT to get you close and the AFC to get you dead on.

You WILL also NEED a logger if yuo plan on changeing ANYTHING.
