I just got my maft and I want to hook it up. I have been reading that I really cant run it without another piggyback system to fine tune it. I just want to hook it up now and get it out of the way. Would I be able to run with it and tune it well enough to just drive it around town at like 18lbs and have fun? I will be getting dsmlink later on in the year but I like to install one thing at a time that way if something goes wrong I can pinpoint it quicker.

Let me know,
Anthony

What you heard is true. It is not wise to try and tune using just the MAF-T but you can get the car up and running without another tuning system. Some people have had so much trouble they're just gone back to stock and some people have had no problems at all. It's a hit or miss with the MAF-T. I would suggest just go ahead and do your best to get it up and running.
