MAF-T Questions

I have been searching alot and want to cold hard facts. I have an safc2 and i know i can use both or each one seperatly. My main questions are:
What are the benefits besides venting?
How does it react to weather changes compared to my 2gmass?
Does it help idle?

I'm looking for some clear cut answers because I spent three hours going through threads and only have a little bit of good info

That and I got a gm maf for 20 bucks new

Once you start modding and crank up the boost its really easy to overrun the stock 1g maf, also when you get a fmic with short piping I think the ic pipe goes right where the stock maf is. As for 2g maf differences, I dont know.

Yeah I saw it, I had zero desire to dig through that many posts
I have short route piping with my fmic (see mods list)
