I was poking around the wiring for my stock ecu and decided to cut out the fuel defender and wire the maf stock. Well I found it was tied into the green wire and the green and white was totally cut and not even hooked up. Now I learned recently the fuel cut is tied to the maf reading and u need to trick the stock ecu to never see that magic number of air vs rpm where it cuts fuel off. Far as I can tell the 1g has no actual pressure sensor to signal the ecu how much boost is in the motor. It uses a calculation of maf volume vs rpm to guess how much boost the motor has? So why did my car run fine with a maf wire cut. Turning the fuel defender would lean the motor out but not let me run more boost then the stock computer was calculated as fuel cut. Is the green wire the right one and what's the green and white for if the car ran fine with only one wire hooked to the ECU.
