Machining estimates?

Ok guys, gonna have a block brought into a machine shop and just wanted to know approximately what others have paid for as i don't want to get ripped off.

looking to have the following done:

block: decked, honed, crank pressed out, balanced, and put back in with new bearings/arp main studs.

head: dissassembled, decked, 1mm o/s valves, new valve guides put in with new stem seals, and crower valve springs and retainers installed.

thanks for any approximations you guys can give, i just want to make sure it's in relatively the same ball park figure as what some shops are asking.

This is what i ended up paying.
Clean $72
Bore $100
Line Hone $145.00
Mill Block $66.00
Polish Crank $44.00
Balance $75.00
I didnt end up needing the Line Hone so i saved 145.00.
I get the block back looking like it was new. Crank was polished and balanced. Core plugs ended up being like 12 bucks. I have to say they did a great job.
Thats all the machine work i have had done so far.
In a few weeks ill have my head sent out for a 3 angle valve job and milled.
I got a quote for about 90 bucks.

Prices in Michigan will make a customer in Northern Calfornia, especially the Bay Area, cry blood.
Call around. If you have any motorhead friends who are already regular machine shop customers, use them.
You'll probably find better prices in Sac than the Bay.
Make sure the machinist knows the crank isn't supposed to be machined.
