Reputable Rod Machining

I was wondering where everyone has taken their 6 bolt rods to get machined for 2g pistons. My local toolmaker doesn't feel comfortable doing it because of the amount of precision and accuracy needed (mostly keeping the crank bore and the wrist pin bore on the EXACT same plane), and all the local machine shops i have called say they can bore the rod but they can't shave the rod on the sides accurately enough without damaging the rod. Thanks.

funny you should ask.... there is a thread in the cyl head and short block asking the same thing...
